Raising the awareness of the help and support the North West Coaching Team has to offer to all BSAC members, this website will guide you to a wealth of information regarding the training and diving opportunities open to you in Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and the Isle of Man.

The coaching team provides direct technical support to BSAC members through their Branches and through regionally organised courses and events. Every branch has an Area Coach who is there to advise and assist you as and when you require it. If you have yet to meet your Area Coach or feel a visit could be helpful, please contact them. They would be more than happy to hear from you.

The primary aim of the Coaching Scheme is to assist Branches to run and become self-sufficient in their ability to arrange their own Skill Development Courses, additionally we run courses regionally to meet demand and particularly where specialist equipment is required. The coaching team can assist with the development of nationally qualified instructors within the branch. Details of all these courses are published on this Regional website.
